Great place to stay if you’re planning a trip to Carlingford. We were a group of 10 and the house never felt cramped, all the rooms were a good size. They have a games room set up with a pool table and table tennis- which was brilliant. We will definitely book another trip here again.

Great hosts, communication and friendliness on arrival. Location was what we were looking for and for a family getaway we enjoyed every minute of being there. Nice touch with the welcome hampers also. Everything was clean and tidy, with a rural homely feel. Good location for getting into Carlingford and going for walks. Quaint local cafe, restaurant and pub round the corner if you are not venturing far.
Property may need modernizing in the future; Master bed mattress was very uneven/uncomfortable. Power for shower was in an interesting location. Bbq could be bigger.

Great location. Pubs, coffee shops and shops all near and 8 mins drive to Carlingford.
So much space in the house for all 10 of us and such a warm welcome from the hosts.
Not much I can say negative. Only thing I would suggest is updating the photos of the property, as the grass area in the photos is no longer there so there wasn’t a massive amount of space for the kids to play, which was one of the reasons I picked the property. The weather ended up not being great so didn’t affect our stay that much as inside is so spacious.

The host provided prosecco on arrival (a nice touch!) and gave us some great recommendations for food/drinks, along with menu for the nearby pub and cafe. The pub, John Longs, was a 2 min walk from the property and great for all the family.
All 9 of us (including 2 young children) fitted nicely and the games room was lots of fun.
Carlingford town itself was only c.10 mins by car and we were able to see the castle, Irish Folklore park and lots of great places for food and drink while we visited.
We will definitely be back!
Heating was on automatic so it was a bit warm in the mornings/late at night but I imagine this is necessary in colder months!
