Everything. The most magical place! The property is absolutely stunning but what stands out is the care and love put in every single detail. The rooms were spacious, pristine with all the best amenities and products. The highlight is the breakfast, from amazing croissants and cakes to the fresh vegetables, you’re spoilt of choice. I’ve travelled all around the world and been in 5/4 stars hotels that were not at the same standard of Manoir de la Malartrie. 10 out of 10!

The setting and presentation of the accommodation was lovely. The host was very friendly and efficient. The grounds and pool were idyllic. It was a short walk to the village and restaurants.
Breakfast was an optional addition and very expensive at €29 per person. Cheaper to walk into the village.

Absolutely beautiful . Perhaps the perfect holiday - a wonderful breakfast, castles to visit, rivers to canoe and then afternoons of sunshine, shade and lovely swims in that beautiful pool . Extremely comfortable beds with generous rooms and amenities. A garden to explore with charm at each turn.
Love and care at every detail this is a place run with heart. A special place indeed.

If you are planning a trip to Dordogne, stay here! You will not regret it. If you are not planning to visit Dordogne, change your plans and come here. The views are breathtaking, the rooms have top quality everything - from bedding to lotions and shampoo. And, the staff are friendly, accommodating, and will go out of their way to make your stay exceptional.
It is the time of year when clover is prevalent so there are numerous bees outside. But the staff did as much as they could to reduce the number and truly, the bees were not interested in us. They were simply seeking sweets or clover.
