I had a quiet enjoyable stay. I didn't get to meet the hosts but from the notes from the other guests, the host must be nice.
As a foreigner who isn't familiar with the system, read the signs the host has placed for easy navigation and settling in. It wasn't easy for me but the signs helped.

Great location a bit outside of Trollhättan. Supermarket and a few restaurants nearby (walking distance). I was allowed to safely store my bike inside during the night (in the hallway). A bit of a special place, I've never slept in a church. ;)
Had a room with a bathroom and shower attached so I can't comment on the shared facilities, however, the kitchen was enormous and equipped with everything you might need during your stay. Coffee and tea for free. I also want to hilight the exceptional exchange with the staff and that I got a great recommendation for my cycling route, which took me through scenic places on my way back to Gothenburg. Thanks again!
Personal preference, the bed/mattress in my room was very, very soft, that's why I'll rate the comfort a bit lower. If you like soft mattresses, you'll sleep comfortably.

It’s a very nice property, I did not read before but I suspended to learn it’s a former church turned into a hotel. The place is very quiet and peaceful. It’s in a nice area of the town. I especially loved the walk through the little forest to get to the city center. I liked the idea of socialising with other guests that were in the house.
I booked a deluxe double room and I thought (since it wasn’t mentioned in the title it had a shared bathroom like the rest of the options) it had a private bathroom. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, none of the rooms have private bathrooms. However, that wasn’t an issue because there are several bathrooms and I always had the bathroom available when I needed it.

it’s clean, staff is very friendly and helpful.
rooms, they are really lame without any window, I had to keep doors open the whole time because there is no enough air.
