Extremely disappointing experience—potential bait-and-switch scam We were informed by the property that our reserved apartment was ready and available for check-in. However, upon arrival, we were met outside the building by two unidentified men who told us otherwise and instead escorted us to a supposedly “upgraded” apartment a short walk away. This alternate property was, in reality, a clear downgrade. The condition was poor, the location felt unsafe, and the building lacked basic security measures. When we searched for this apartment listing, we discovered it had zero reviews and was priced a staggering £1000 more than similar accommodations in the area. It was I also still available to book for the same nights we were staying in it. That raised serious concerns and led us to believe we may have been misled or caught in a bait-and-switch operation. Out of concern for our safety, we immediately booked a hotel to exit the situation. Given the misleading communication, change of accommodation without consent, and the overall unsafe experience, we could not stay at the property and received a full refund from Booking.com. This ordeal left us deeply disappointed and shaken. Traveler’s, If you have booked this apartment CANCEL IT NOW. If you have booked “Zerometer Oldtown Apartments” this is where we were moved too. Please cancel this too. The hosts are nothing but a bunch of scamming liars.

My trip was cancelled due to Coronavirus- Host refused any sort of a refund even though I cancelled in good time.

Great Location But Not So Clean

First of all, the location is wonderful. It's in the middle of the bars and clubs but the room was very quiet. It's a blessing to leave all those noise behind you when you go back to sleep. The beds were large enough and they also have a sofa that two person can easily sleep together. There is a large balcony if you smoke.

The building is very old and smells of damp. The bathroom was very small and a bit dirty like the other parts of the room. There is no shower cabin, just the curtain which I don't like very much to touch it.
