Safari met me at the airport, so I didn't get lost finding the premises. He was an exceptional host. I felt like I was in the home of a friend, not a guest at a boutique B&B.
Nothing was too much trouble and I have such wonderful memories of my short stay
It so exceeded my expectations there is nothing I didn't like.

Beautifully reatored house in the heart of old Lamu. Lots of attention to detail, comfortable rooms, spectacular roof terrace, refreshing plunge pool. Amazing staff who are really friendly, helpful and make you feel at home.
Nothing - it is in the heart of old town so important to be aware of noise from mosque and neighbours.

Absolutely magical place - the pictures don't do it justice, it's an oasis with phenomenal architecture and collector's furniture. You really feel like you are in a different world. Safari (the managing host) is also super kind - he picked a d dropped me from the airport with a boat and carried my suitcase. He also offered me a cold coconut on arrival.
Be mindful you cannot count on breakfast or coffee or any food. But there are food spots around you can explore. It is also a little bit of a walk from the beach/sea, if you don't mind the narrow alleys of Lamu town and the smells/ dokey. The house itself is very quiet and smells nice.

house is absolutely beautiful. renovated with great eye for detail. swimming pool. all furniture is so thoughtfully picked as well.
the ONLY thing that could be better is to cultivate a bit of a community feeling with other guests and staff. it has a bit of hotel vibes rather than house vibes. it could add to the experience.
