The location could not have been better. It was so close to the old city and Osnabruck University. The apartment was airy with lots of windows and it seemed spacious, even though it was not a large space. The kitchen was very nice for cooking our own light meals. The only thing missing was a blender. The whole building is very clean and taken care of nicely. The manager was very quick to respond to messages.
Trying to find the property was challenging. The directions said to go to Rolandsmauer street which takes you to the back of the building which does not look at all like the pictures. It even looked kind of run-down, with peeled paint. And there is no sign on the back or front which says Villa am Wall.
All of the messages from the manager were in German, so I had to use google translate to understand them, which was no problem, but all messages in the room were also in German, and typing them into a translation tool would have taken too much time.

The central location is very good, and the top floor apartment had a great view of adjacent church spires and trees. Owner provided helpful instructions on how to access key in lockbox, and unload luggage at Villa am Wall, off the main street. Bed was comfortable, and kitchen had everything needed for our 2-night stay.
The shower needed repair--it was not really possible to use it because water sprayed everywhere except out of the shower head.
Otherwise, there are two things people might want to be aware of before booking:
1. One must climb about 68 steps to get to the top floor--no elevator. Not a problem for us, but a bit of a challenge if one has heavy luggage.
2. Overnight parking in the central area can be impacted by holiday events. All nearby public garages were quite full when we arrived, so we had to find parking about 15-minute walk away in a neighborhood, hoping we understood the parking signs well enough not to get towed. The next day, the nearby parking garages did have space again.
