Gaga Bees is an exceptional place! We stayed for just one night in a lovely cabin—equipped with every comfort—nestled in the heart of the jungle. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot to stay while visiting Udawalawe National Park, this is the place to go! The team is incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind—and we absolutely fell in love with their adorable dog, Bluey! We also had dinner on-site, and it was delicious. The staff, who were always so attentive, even prepared a takeaway breakfast for us to enjoy before our safari. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Staff were very helpful and the safari trip was incredible. There’s a recent review about the jeep not being good quality, but it was fine and the last thing I was thinking about when seeing the beautiful elephants. My guide was Nimantha and he was amazing, took me to lots of spots where there weren’t a lot of jeeps & we saw so many animals! Rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice pool area. The property is in the jungle which is amazing but also the frogs and animals can be quite noisy at night so I’d recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
I had two meals at the restaurant one was okay, the tacos I wouldn’t have again and you do have to order an hour in advance but they inform you of this on arrival.
