Hilton Garden Inn Bogota Airport

The rooms are very comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious. There's a coffee maker in the room. There is a free airport shuttle which we used both ways.

The rooms require more functioning electricity sockets. There was no packed breakfast option, of which we were not informed beforehand. None of the 30+ other hotels we stayed in this summer failed to provide this service, so it really stood out. On the photo you can see what was on offer to snack on before departing, no paper bags, no drinks for children. In addition, reception staff couldn't speak English. As a Spanish speaker I had had no problem communicating in Spanish at all our other accommodations, however, the person who checked us in at Hilton mumbled so strongly and fast that I barely understood him. If one doesn't speak English, one could at least speak clearly in Spanish.

It was comfortable, clean and the staff were always trying to help you very good place to stay indeed.

There was literally nothing bad with it.

Very comfortable beds and pillows. Very close to the airport. Very convenient for a night stay near the airport. Has a shuttle that leaves every hour. Clean, good Wifi. Will stay their again if traveling through Bogota.

What I liked about the room was that it was very quiet. That was the main thing I appreciated. Even though I never used the air conditioning, since the weather in Bogotá was already cool, the room temperature felt pleasant and comfortable. Other than that, there was not much else that stood out to me.

The room was very quiet, and that was something I really liked. It was quite peaceful. However, it was not very comfortable. The beds were too close to the furniture, and they were not very comfortable either. There was no refrigerator, not even a small one in the room, so we had no way to keep drinks cold. They did provide cold bottled water for purchase, but they did not give complimentary water except for one bottle upon arrival. If you wanted more cold water, you had to go down to the lobby and refill a container they left in the room. The bathroom was comfortable, but the cleanliness of the room was not very good. They made the beds, but the floor was left dirty. It was noticeable that they did not vacuum the floor. As for the rest, I did not like the breakfast. There was not much variety. Some staff charged 6,000 Colombian pesos for a latte, while others later tried to charge 9,000 to 9,500 Colombian pesos for the same coffee. I did not see this as a marketing strategy — it felt more like dishonest pricing. If you wanted freshly made eggs, you had to wait around 15 minutes. You also had to wait for someone to come to the table and take your egg order. There were not many tables available in the breakfast area. The space was quite small, with around 15 to 16 tables. Usually, about 5 or 6 of them were marked as reserved. So when it was busy, you had to look around to find somewhere to sit. Honestly, I have stayed in other hotels that were much more comfortable, with a better overall level of comfort. I should also mention that buying food at the restaurant downstairs was extremely expensive. The prices were higher than what you would normally pay in the United States. The steaks, in particular, were much more expensive. I only ate there once when I arrived and did not return because the prices seemed excessive.
