Clean accommodation - really great host who sorted us an additional day's stay at very short notice!

The location was perfect and a beautiful apartment

A few maintenance issues i.e. door handles

Great location for the city centre. Clean & spacious.

Tiles in the bathroom could do with re- laying as trapped my foot in them as they move. Paint work to be touched up.

The property itself is a nice haven, it's got all the amenities you could need which are all well thought out. I couldn't fault them on that. Self check-in was easy too and the car parking spot was a perk.

**I stayed back in mid July, so if there are good reviews since then, disregard this. I always avoid leaving bad reviews, but equally I've thought about it and felt I'd appreciate a transparent review like this.** Despite the positives, we arrived late on our first evening to find a large amount of hair in the sheets, pillow cases and duvet cover. I even had an empty sweet wrapper visible through my sheet. On further inspection after finding this we did think the place generally was in need of a deep clean including dusting and removal of litter in the boiler cupboard (where spare pillows were also stored). It was affordable but it's not necessarily cheaper than a hotel so to me the poor cleanliness was not arguably reasonable. I booked this for my graduation as a place for my parents and I to sleep and it was affordable and conveniently located near to the uni for a two-bed with a kitchen. I can't fault them on this, safety wise, as a solo female I wouldn't stay here but as a group it's absolutely fine. It's a nice property and quite frankly just needs a deep clean (linen included)! Overall I was disappointed that the property failed to acknowledge the cleanliness problem when it was raised, despite the photographic evidence. All I can hope is that they sought to change it after our stay. I'm not attaching images as I don't want these to be showcased when people view reviews incase they don't read this entire review. If the owners have been proactive, they shouldn't be held to the detriment of one review.
