Location, the rooms were immaculately clean and well equipped. I cannot rate staff other than the lady who provided breakfast as the reception is not manned hence my score of 9.

The charm of the location and of the hostess, the quaintness of the room. The contemporary bathroom fixtures were a pleasant contrast to the old-fashioned features elsewhere. Lots of helpful information provided about hiking and biking routes in the area.
The breakfast was adequate. You're offered five choices of breakfast style, as well as two size options. I chose the standard German Wurst and Kâse option, and realized that with all the possible varieties of those products in Germany, it is easy to get options one doesn't particularly like. Hence the appeal of a buffet--but I know it leads to lots of waste and costs staff time . . .
Also, the walls in my room were sufficiently thin that I could hear my neighbors chatting in bed and occasionally snoring throughout the night.

Location is good. Room has view.
No reception. No elevator. Breakfast is limited. The worst is NO HOT WATER. We had to take cold showers. Nobody was available to be contacted when this happened.
