The location was ideal for an overnight stay from the airport. The grounds were really nicely maintained and we had an excellent breakfast outdoors the next morning. All very relaxed and a good way to start the rest of our Sri Lanka trip.
The room was not particularly clean and our bathroom was not very nice. The check-out procedure felt a little bit contrived. If we had to spend a few minutes watching the receptionist manually calculate our bill in front of us, she probably didn't need to then place it in a special wooden box to present to us.

The food was quite nice and they try to cater for westerners as best they can. Staff where friendly and helpful
Chairs out the front of the rooms weren't that comfortable and maybe to have a few comfortable chairs inside the room to sit on world be an addition.

Staff at the property were fantastic. Incredibly welcoming, easy process to check in and accommodating with rooms. Location is on the beach and there is a restaurant on-site. Helpful when I needed to leave without staying. Even provided a ride to my next destination!
The room I booked with booking.com was not available and the description was inaccurate. I was offered a few different rooms and finally settle on a room with a sofa. Unfortunately, the mildew and smell were so bad that I had to leave. And the perfume they use to address the smell made it considerably worse. The towels and bedding were thin and old. The property still had garbage about (two weeks post cyclone), the beach area in front was dirty and there was a mattress outside one of the rooms they offered me.
