Chomlay Room and Restaurant was absolutely unique because it sits right on the water. You can literally watch the high and low tides roll in and out throughout the day, which made the whole experience feel so special.
We were fortunate to have a water view and it was perfect. Waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing was something we will never forget. The people there were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made it even better. It truly felt like a one of a kind stay. 🌊✨
At Chomlay Room and Restaurant, there were a few spots where you could notice a slight fish smell, but that is honestly expected when you are staying right on the water and surrounded by the ocean lifestyle.
Other than that, everything was fantastic. The views, the atmosphere, and the friendly people made it such a memorable experience. 🌊

Unser erster Eindruck war aufgrund der Ebbe leider nicht ganz so schön, da am freigelegten Strandboden einiges an Plastikmüll zu sehen war. Dafür können die Gastgeber jedoch nichts.
Die Lage ist ideal, nur wenige Gehminuten von der süßen und sehr malerischen Old Town entfernt. Einen klassischen Badestrand darf man hier allerdings nicht erwarten, der befindet sich auf der anderen Seite der Insel. Stattdessen gibt es Mangroven, viel Natur und zahlreiche Vögel. Es ist sehr ruhig, man hört eigentlich nur die Geräusche der Natur.
Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Unsere Klimaanlage war anfangs sehr laut, was wir direkt angesprochen haben. Noch bevor wir richtig damit gerechnet hatten, standen Handwerker vor der Tür und haben tatsächlich eine komplett neue Klimaanlage eingebaut. Das beschreibt unseren Aufenthalt eigentlich perfekt: Wenn man etwas kommuniziert hat, wurde es sofort ernst genommen und umgehend umgesetzt.
Die Familie ist unglaublich freundlich und herzlich. Am Ende haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und den Aufenthalt wirklich genossen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Betreuung.
