We loved everything. We booked villa 6 which has its own private pool (though also the most steps down to it). The villa blew my mind. It was huge, beautiful, the pool was fab, scenery was amazing, the decor, the outside twin showers... there's nothing I can fault.
The entire grounds of the hotel and it's restaurant / spa (called The Monkey Bar with its own infinity pool with a view to die for) is just something special. Staff were lovely, food was gorgeous, spa staff are really good, there's nothing we can fault. I only wished we could have stayed longer. When I come back to Bali this will be first on my list

Away from the maddening crowds..a beautiful retreat in the foothills of Klung Kung. Loved our 5 night stay.

Everything was beautiful - the views, the pool, the rooms were enormous, the food at the Monkey Bar was great.
The staff were lovely, friendly and went out of their way to make my husband's birthday really special. They can go into town and buy anything you want or need.
It was great to see another part of Bali with such lush jungle.
It felt like a very relaxing retreat!
Nothing really.
The road was pretty steep and with the heat a little hard for long walks, but also great exercise.
It's also quite isolated without nearby shops and no other restaurant choices but that didn't bother us at all because what was there was perfect.
