We stayed in Zanzibar for around two weeks and visited four different hotels, and this one was by far our absolute favorite. It felt like a beautiful oasis, full of peace and tranquility. Had we known beforehand how amazing it was, we would have stayed here for our entire trip.
The service was excellent and of very high quality - extremely personal yet always professional. The food was fantastic, and we would definitely recommend going for the all-inclusive option.
We especially loved the many small, thoughtful gestures: our favourite drink placed in front of our door early in the morning, our bed being made ready to sleep every night, complimentary laundry service - everything was done with great care, love, and attention to detail. Dining under the stars at night was truly magical. The hotel also offers great activities, we highly recommend the sunset dhow cruise. Free tennis was another nice bonus.
The hotel is very quiet, which we personally loved and really needed. However, if you’re looking for more entertainment or nightlife, this might not be the ideal place. That said, livelier areas like Paje are close by and easily reachable by taxi if you’re craving a bit more action.
The cocktails were also a little too strong for our taste.
