-The location was great - quiet area, but just a short grab ride into the night markets and shopping. Duong Fong is the place to be in Phu Quoc.
-Huong Pham and her husband were lovely and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Very helpful with information, sending links to locations for us, but respected our privacy also.
- Modern rooms, lots of space, quiet and amazing views of the beach right in front.
-Clean
- We felt safe there…the room is located behind their home off an ally, on the beachfront. You can walk up the ally to the shops, and it was I treating seeing real local homes and families.
- Good size fridge, and washing machine.
- We booked the room for the beach, and it was beautiful from a distance, and looking out but up close there is a lot of rubbish there which meant we didn’t really want to swim or walk on the beach. We are from New Zealand so this is something we are not used too.
- The bed is a great size, and clean but I did find it a little hard, but we coped.
- These were small things, and once we sussed the island out more realised what a good position it was, and the rubbish is an island wide thing.

The large private area and kitchen. The washing machine worked well. The staff were very friendly.
It wasn’t what we were expecting from the pictures. We had hopped to have a nice place to relax for a few days however the beach was full of garbage and the water was full of fishing boats at times; we didn’t even try to swim. The bedding was very stained. The location was a fit far from most things, you need to rent a bike to get around. We had to walk with our luggage as the cars could drive up to property. The upper bedroom was too hot to sleep in. The shower had “greenery” covering up a pit in the floor. The bathroom garbage smelled of cigarettes.
