Is was close enough to the beach and other facilities (shops, restaurants), just 5-10 minutes drive. It was nice that the property had a front terrace and some cats that we gladly fed.
The presentation photos were taken a long time ago, when the house and the garden were in a much better state.
After arrival we received a message that we can not use the back terrace (under no circumstances) because it's in danger of collapsing!
Also, the house was full of kids toys and other stuff left around. It looked as if the people living there left in a hurry knowing that we should arrive. But, since in Greece you spend very little time at the accommodation we somehow managed to ignore that it was untidy.
It needs a bit of TLC to make it a really enjoyable property.

Surfers Cottage was a perfect choice for our holidays! Very quiet location, comfortable and well-equipped house with a very nice garden (with lemon trees, fig tree etc.) and very good wi-fi. You can feel like home there. Stelios (host) was very supportive and ready to help, it was a very good, immediate contact with him, before and during our stay. For instance, Stelios lent us a bicycle and bought a bicycle pump for us, helped us to choose a good taxi company for the airport transfer, sent us all important information about the house and surroundings... Anavyssos is a very beautiful place, with beautiful beaches (sand and rocks, it depends on what you like) and picturesque places. It is also not far from interesting places to visit such as Athens or Sounion. I recommend Surfers Cottage for the holidays! I left it yesterday but already miss it... Maybe one day I will return...
