The room is really unique. This is my second time staying at Sana Vie but this time it was a little disappointing (I will explain below). Stayed here this time for my honeymoon. Room is clean, and modern. The pool is the highlight with these really cool steps that you walk across that lead to the bedroom. The outdoor shower and sitting area as also nice. It gives a good variety of space.
One shout out. There was a staff member, I think named Dede, was amazingly helpful. Super kind and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area.
From the moment we arrived, the receptionist was not very pleasant to deal with. Yes, we arrived early, about 1.5 hours before check in but the receptionist was not very kind and nor did she seem to know how to engage with customers. She even stated that she was new; that was evidently clear before she even mentioned that. We understand that hotels have strict check in times, but the way she made us wait annoyed us. After we checked in she didn't explain well that the room was not ready and vaguely gestured to the chairs to wait. at 2:50 I approached her again and asked if the room was ready. She absentmindedly responded, "The room has already been ready". I don't know if it is her lack of English skills, but this phrase was frustrating as it implied it was done quite some time ago which made us think, why did we have to wait so long.
The room had a whole array of issues from the moment we checked in. When we walked in the Aircon was not working and the room was stifling hot. So we had to request a technician stop by and he had to climb onto the roof to fix the problem. Why would you let guests into a room that clearly wasn’t ready? After that, the aircon started leaking water all off the floor so we had to call the technician back. The pools was also dirty. The bottom was not vacuumed before and so we the pool person had to be called in to do so. The room also had zero hand towels in the bathroom so again we had to call. So much unnecessary work on our end. Something we shouldn’t have to do.
Breakfast was not delicious. They put a ton of sugar in an ice americano, the bread was old, and everything lacked flavor.

good concept for young family or maybe honeymooners.
there is direct acess from 1st floor bathroom to swimming pool. and the hammock.
- most of the facilites seems old and not well maintenanced.
- the gutter in bathroom and showroom area smells not good.
- the wall in swimming pool area already covered with moss.
- some gutter in the dining area already rusty.
- water sink in the pantry area are broken, and the gutter in the sink smelled very bad (like someone has just vomit in it).
- the customer service said before that each bedroom will be facilitated with 1 hairdryer, and still can request to receptionist if we need more.
in fact, i order 2 BR, and only 1 BR (in 1st floor) provided with only one hairdryer. when i ask to the receptionist, i was told : they only got that last one.
