Rooms for sleeping were nice, complementary tea/coffee but no water! Good location but if you’re a woman travelling alone be prepared for a constant stream of hustlers from the moment you walk out the door.
The women’s bathroom was pretty horrifying to be honest.

Nice choices of accommodation from private room with bath to hostel style. Good internet. Location quiet yet neat money changers and places to eat. There was a place to leave luggage while waiting for the midnight plane.

Clean and comfortable. Lovely staff. Offered a tea/coffee on arrival. Good location, out of the hustle and bustle of Colombo but very central. We went for a lovely breakfast in a cafe in a tea shop on the corner of the road.
Would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room.

The room and hostel was good.
The only issue I want to mention is the tuk-tuk drivers waiting just outside the hostel. I suspect the hostel staff know them—and might even have an arrangement—as their behavior is extremely pushy and intrusive. During my two-night stay, every time I walked out, they tried to talk to me and followed me down the street.
At the end of my stay, I took one of these tuk-tuks. The entire way, the driver pressured me to visit a gem store, completely ignoring me even though I repeatedly said I was in a rush to catch a flight. Upon arrival, he demanded more money than we had initially agreed on. The hostel management should take precautions regarding this, especially since I frequently saw the staff chatting with these drivers and calling them by name.
