Located in alluring Burnett-town SC., home to rich history, beautiful wildlife, and exciting community events such as the annual Sassafras Festival. Minutes away from Augusta, Georgia, the Garden City of the South, home of the globally-recognized Masters Tournament, birthplace of Soul Icon James Brown, and home of the US Army's Cyber Center of Excellence at Fort Gordon. Founded in 1736 by General James Oglethorpe (a statue of whom graces Augusta Common) and is Georgia's second-largest city. Also largest man-made lake up the street from house. The house is beautiful. Very spacious enough room for everybody to spread out the backyard is beautiful the house is stocked with everything that you need I really enjoyed my weekend with family.

I read a previous review that said said the photos did not do this house justice. I have to agree. This house was absolutely fabulous!! I was with my 2 adult cousins and the college age daughter of my cousin. The host, Lynniece was very accommodating and gracious. We had a terrific time and really hope to come bak in the near future!!

We really enjoyed the home and all the space and privacy it provided. We had out own personal space and restrooms. It was a very comfortable time while visiting our daughter and watching the equestrian competitions. Good location to food and shopping.

Perfect accommodations for our family. Clean, large, safe, comfortable and convenient. However, please make sure there is enough toilet paper for the number or people/nights, particularly for a stay of less than a week. I agree with other comments on lighting. Burnt out bulbs need to be replaced. Other bulbs should also be replaced with higher wattage bulbs. Also more lamps and other lighting is needed. But that being said, my family and I enjoyed our stay and highly recommend staying here when in the Augusta/Aiken area.

This was the 2nd time our family stayed at this property and it's a perfect fit. Lots of space for large groups and well appointed bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Host is nice, easy to contact, and quick to respond. Lots of things to do between Aiken and Augusta. Hope to find availability to come back for another holiday stay.

4.5 baths, very big, feels like a real home. Lots of items and extras in the kitchen (pans, seasonings, condiments, etc, the things that are usually missing in many VRBOs)

The house was nice and big with 5 bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped except for serving dishes. We cooked a lot. Only having to throw dirty towels in the hamper and not take care of bedding was a plus. I'd recommend it for anyone who is having a gathering and needs lots of space.

Six women stayed here, so two of the group shared a room. There are two large master bedrooms, so this worked out.
Here are our suggestions for improvement. One, don’t have a VRBO and then in the welcome pack say you can’t wear shoes on the carpet. The entire upstairs is carpeted. We found this very inconvenient. Additionally, for medical reasons, some of our party needed the support of shoes. Change out the carpet for vinyl planking.
Secondly, two chairs in the living room cannot be straightened out of their recliner position, making them useless as chairs.
Third, too much emphasis on paper towels as opposed to providing clothe towels, especially in the kitchen,. This would be more environmentally friendly. Fourth, not enough silverware for a house that accommodates a large number. And finally, more lamps are needed. There is one small lamp in the living room and there should probably be 3. There were no lamps by the beds in the bedroom so people that actually read paperbacks could not do so in bed.

This property was absolutely perfect for our purposes. Everyone had their own space. The Kitchen was perfect for our purposes. It made our visit to Aiken delightful. We would definitely do it again.

We had 10 people coming in for an equestrian competition. We didn’t want to break the bank but wanted to all stay together. We found this lovely home. The beds were super comfortable and it was very well stocked. The host was amazing to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this place highly!
