Super schöne Sonnenterrasse, großes Apartment, gute Lage zur Erkundung der Südküste und Wanderungen!

-Schöne Aussicht -große Terrasse -großes Apartment -sehr gut ausgestattete Küche -20 min. Downhill walk zur Promenade /Calheta -nur 15 min. Fahrt zum Parkplatz Nähe Reitertunnel (von hier aus Wanderung nach Rabaçal und 25 fontes etc.)

-2 Türgriffe nicht funktionierend -Silikon in Badezimmer müsste erneuert werden (beides aber ja hoffentlich nur temporäres Problem)

Exceptional

Very nice place with the ocean view. Very clean and quiet appartment with parking place and big terrace. There were everything what we need for our stay in Madeira. Very good wi-fi connection. Great place for holiday.

Perfect location with really nice host

Location is perfect, doesn't matter which part of Madeira you want to visit, it is close. Garry is really nice host, really patient. He explained everything, made our stay really lovely. In flat you will find everything. All kitchen stuff, including blender, juice maker, variation of spices etc. Towels, blankets, everything was there. I took washing powder with me, it wasn't necessary. In flat you will find even few types of washing powder.

in first moment drive to garage shocked us, it is really down the hill, but you can get used to!

Pool was good

You need a car unless you want to stay in the apartment all the time. It’s a steep climb up and not much around. Calheta is as well a touristy sport my without a soul. Gary was very kind host.

Great place, highly recommend it. Madeira is an amazing island.

The hosts (Garry & Yvonne) were lovely and very helpful. It is spacious with amazing views and nice facilities. The flat was clean and had all the amenities we required.

The hot water sometimes ran out unfortunately when two of us were taking showers back to back. It came back after a while, but this was inconvenient when we were in a rush (which was rare).

Fantastic location, large apartment, & spectacular views.

The apartment was really well appointed, you couldn’t ask for better. The swimming pool and gardens a good size and well kept. Pretty much everything you needed was there from vacuum cleaner; ironing board, and hairdryer, to a good set of kitchen equipment.

If you don’t like to listen to dogs barking literally all night then don’t stay here! You have to have windows and doors open to provide air circulation, so there’s no escaping the noise! The bedrooms; towels, and bedding smelt foul. I ended up washing all of the towels, then going out and buying decent detergent and washing everything, including the sheets; bedspread, and towels again. This made a huge difference, but the The sofa and cushions, rugs etc. could also do with a good clean. We just put towels over the sofa, it was meant to be a holiday after all! Part of the problem is that whoever does the cleaning left the previous occupants’ towels drying outside and she never came back to put them away, even after a couple of torrential rains! Nothing is going to smell nice when you do that sort of thing. We booked for 10 days and no one came around to clean in all that time. Thankfully we had clean sheets and took care of the rest ourselves! That’s pretty manky though, especially given the cost. We discussed the question of extending our stay on arrival and were told by the property manager that we would have to do that in cash, not via Booking.com, which seems pretty fishy to me!
