Good location but slightly tired interior
Location within the castle walls is good and the view from the balcony nice.
Overall, a nice cottage in a lovely location, but one that feels rather tired and would benefit from some maintenance and updating.
Unfortunately, several issues affected comfort during my stay. The central heating wasn't working properly when I arrived. The owner kindly brought over a small fan heater, and I eventually managed to get the heating running, although it remained difficult to control.
The bathroom door didn't close properly, and the main bedroom window wouldn't shut fully, making the room both cold and noisy. Combined with the lack of proper curtains, this made sleeping difficult. I also noticed that a broken support beneath the main bed appeared to have been repaired with duct tape.
Downstairs, the sofa is very soft and rather saggy, and its position directly against a radiator restricts the heat. With the ground floor being entirely open-plan and the front door somewhat draughty, the living area wasn't always particularly comfortable.
The kitchen was usable, but the markings on the cooker controls are so worn that operating it involved some guesswork. The pans are quite small, and the crockery and equipment are fairly basic.
The second bedroom is very small, with limited headroom around the bunk beds. Unfortunately, access to the balcony is only through this room, and there's nowhere comfortable to sit indoors and enjoy the lovely view when the weather isn't suitable for being outside.
Finally, a more comprehensive house information folder would be helpful. I've rarely stayed in self-catering accommodation without one, and practical details such as where to find the advertised tumble dryer, bin collection arrangements and clearer heating instructions would make a difference.
There's a lot to like about the cottage, particularly its location and views, but some attention to the broken fittings, heating, furnishings and general equipment would make it a much more comfortable place to stay.

Amazing location, just what we were looking for
Amazing location, clean, has everything you need.
Tiny things maybe: more dish towels and cups, especially larger ones. Maybe a coffee machine, but now I’m just not picking. It’s a lovely cottage

Mixed feelings. Given a little more care, Conwy View Cottage could be a decent accommodation.
The location of the cottage was good in that there was a car-park just around the corner where we could leave our car overnight. (For a fee.) It was inside the medieval city walls, so getting to the Castle, restaurants, and the shops, etc. was famously easy. The cottage had plenty of room on the ground floor and a really nice kitchen. The bathroom was very nice with a good, modern, roomy shower.
There were no items in the kitchen what-so-ever in the way of welcoming travelers. Not even instant coffee, tea, salt, pepper, sugar, spices, oil, etc. No aluminum foil, a small amount of plastic wrap - probably left by a former renter. A service of cutlery, cups, plates and glasses for four, although some very nice pots and pans were available. Because of this, we weren't able to do any real cooking - taking the time to find a comprehensive grocery store to outfit the kitchen wasn't in our schedule. Having traveled pretty extensively in the UK and Europe, I was expecting a bit more in the way of basic essentials.
The cottage as a whole wasn't exactly spotlessly clean and the furniture is starting to show wear. The smaller bedroom upstairs is really only suitable for small children since it is only as long as the bunk beds and barely two feet wider. The balcony had to be accessed through this bedroom.
We had the dickens of a time with the front door lock.

A Room and a view!
The balcony with the view of the castle is what makes this property so special! Into is a short walk to charming downtown Conwy.
Not a dislike- but note that the bedrooms and bath are quite small.
