The apartment was very clean, and the location is excellent for exploring the historic centre. The Wi-Fi worked, although it was sometimes too slow for a reliable video call.
The apartment is extremely dark, with very little natural daylight. We needed to have the lights on even during the daytime. The Booking.com description states that the apartment has a “balcony with city views”, but there was no balcony and no city view.
One pillow was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. We had to buy a new pillow ourselves. The kitchenette was very basic; there wasn't even a kitchen towel.
The street is very noisy, including late at night. There was frequent noise from people talking and shouting outside, scooters and cars passing along the narrow street, nearby parties and even fireworks late at night. Bear that in mind if you are a light sleeper or prefer quiet evenings and nights.
Communication with the host was sometimes frustrating. We were asked to leave the city tax in cash on the table for the host to collect from the apartment. Even after we specifically asked when he planned to come, we were not given a definite day or time. This left us uncertain about when someone might enter the apartment and made it difficult to relax.
The advertised airport shuttle was particularly important to us, as we specifically selected accommodation offering this service because we had a very early flight. Before travelling, we asked the host to arrange our airport transfer and were told that everything would be organised the evening before checkout. However, once we were in Naples, we were told that we would need to go to a nearby piazza to get a taxi. As we needed to leave at around 4 am, we were very glad that we had already arranged our own transfer. This was particularly disappointing because the availability of an airport shuttle had been one of the reasons we selected this property.
Communication was at times excessive. Also, after checkout, the host specifically asked us to give the property a 10/10 review, which I found uncomfortable.

We had a great stay at this apartment. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently close to all the main attractions. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to prepare meals, and the apartment was spotless and comfortable.
The host was amazing—always responding immediately and providing helpful recommendations on places to visit, how to get around, and where to eat.
As a small suggestion, it would be nice to provide basic essentials such as cooking oil and shampoo. Guests should also be aware that there are no real windows, so there is no natural light inside the apartment. The bed was comfortable, although it a squeaky.
