Casa bellissima, ben curata, vista stupenda, il quartiere dove è inserita la casa è molto bello, diverso dal centro ma interessante da esplorare.
Unica pecca sono le scale. Per noi non hanno costituito un ostacolo, ma potrebbero causare alcune difficoltà per qualcuno.

Good location in terms of ease of access to Amsterdam Central and the airport.
Quiet location.
This is not a luxury penthouse. This is the 5th apartment in a block that is basic with poor DIY and it is in desperate need of maintenance ans cleaning. Leaking taps, evidence of leaks on wall, damaged carpets, stains etc. It is not seen as sold. Some of the facilities listed on booking.com are not factual...there's no gym, pool, 24hr security (other than locked doors) etc. There's a camera on the stairs to watch you. The host is passive aggressive at best. You're instructed how to carry your luggage to the apartment. It is a challenge. If you can't walk up four flights of narrow, winding stairs, where you need to hold onto banisters and occasionally avoid obstructions from other residents or walk in the dark because the communal lights don't come on, you can't access it. Carry on luggage is as much as you can get up there and you're told not to scratch any walls, when all the walls are in a terrible state of disrepair. I travelled with my dad, who's in his 70s and is fit, but didn't find the ascend or descend comfortable. It's not suitable for children. At check out I went up and down the stairs several times to take each carry on back out separately, the rubbish as instructed, our rucksacks and take a video of how we left it. I've stayed in many places and never been worried I won't get my deposit back, but I felt uncomfortable this stay because it felt like what they were selling was not what we were experiencing. We even had a guide to tell us how to write a booking.com review in a very tatty welcome folder and that boasted a 9/10 review from 2018! It's not great for two people needing two beds. You forfeit a sofa. I wanted to make it each night, but didn't dare thinking I'd be blamed for some kind of damage, so we had to chill out in the evening on the sofa bed to watch tv. There's a charge to use the sofa bed...
