What we liked was the fact that the apartment was so large, we also really liked the way that the kitchen was equipped, this was very complete. We also liked the fact that the apartment was calm, there was no noise from the neighbors caused by parties or likewise. The location was also great being next to the Continente supermarket and Albufeira Terrace food mall.
The pans to cook with could be a bit better.

A large apartment with ample storage, kitchen was well equipped. Superb location, stunning views, and very quiet. We didn't use the pool as it's not heated. It's a 3 minute walk to the nearest shopping mall, and main road with shops, cafes etc. It's a 15-minute walk to old town, which is lovely. Or a 20-minute walk to the strip if that's your preference.
There are balconies to the front and back.
The apartment is tired with a few niggles that maintenance is aware of. However, the location and views far outweighed the couple of issues we experienced. José fixed one problem immediately and reported the other two to the building maintenance team.
Be aware (we did know as we read the full description) that there's no heating or air-conditioning. However, with both balcony doors open, there was a lovely cool breeze through the apartment.

Shower leaks! Very bad leak with shower.
Only one door key is so awkward when staying with friends you have to be close by incase they want to go home etc.
