The code and keys were easy to collect. The apartment was well placed- close to the old town and walking distance to any place in Krakow.
Please change the mattresses on the beds! Out of our entire stay in Europe, those were the words beds and pillows I have slept on. No one had a comfortable sleep. If you change the mattresses, you have a gem on your hands.

The best was the courtyard out back. We were delighted to find that we had a walled-in yard, beautifully laid out, and with friendly neighbors. The dogs were free to explore, and it was easy to clean up after them because there were trash cans, too! Seriously, when traveling with dogs, these little touches are like finding out you get free coffee and pastries in the morning. The apartment was beautifully appointed, comfortable and very clean. Loved the interior decorating in the bedroom. Really lovely taste. The whole building was just clean, easy to get in and out of (elevator!), and super friendly people. You can tell the owners and renters here take great pride in maintaining the building.
Now the bad news: No coffee in the morning equals mega minus points. ;-) Which is why, whenever possible, we bring our own, except we couldn't use our mocha machine and the mocha machine in the kitchen didn't work on these magnetic super-duper special stovetops (whoever thought that was bringing mankind forward was wholly and totally mislead). There is a coffee shop around the corner, though. So, it was not the end of the world.

Excellent location on quiet street. Pleasant neighborhood. Availability of local grocery shops. Proximity to park and main attractions.
The flat was far less luxurious and cheerfully lit than any of the flats represented in any of the advertised pictures. The location was several hundred metres from the "next door" restaurant. The kitchen was poorly equipped with insufficient pots and pans. (We requested more, which were promised, but not provided.) Several items of furniture were damaged and the kitchen glass backsplash was cracked - we were afraid we would be blamed for these pre-existing issues. The washing machine was rusty and its door was difficult to open. No courtesy supplies of washing machine and dishwasher detergent were provided. The bathroom had no hooks or anywhere to place towels. The TV remote controls had missing batteries and the AC remote control had dead batteries. Some electrical wall sockets were unattached to the walls.
