Clean apt but needs maintenance

Apt was very clean with a comfortable bed. Location half way between tower and pleasure beach.

Window handles faulty, balcony door faulty, flooring worn, no teetowel in kitchen. Sofa uncomfortable.

A Trip Back to the Stone Age — With Good Water Pressure

Great lovely hosts. Great location. Great water pressure..

If you’re looking for a genuine historical experience, this apartment might be perfect for you. It felt approximately 500 years old, and the lift appeared to be from around the year 1800, so naturally I was wondering whether it was going to take me upstairs or straight into another era. 😂 The sofa looked like it had already hosted approximately 6,000 people and was now quietly questioning all of its life choices. Unfortunately, the bed wasn’t much better — comfortable is definitely not the word I would use. The bathroom looked like it had been designed approximately 7,000 years ago, but I have to admit, it surprised me: the water pressure was excellent and it was actually quite clean! That was probably the biggest plot twist of the entire stay. 😂 To be fair, the surrounding properties also looked like they had been standing for roughly 10,000 years, so the apartment definitely fitted in with the local architecture. If Blackpool ever decides to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this place is already halfway there. 😆 Jokes aside, the apartment could really benefit from some serious TLC. A new sofa, a decent comfortable bed, some fresh decoration and a general modernisation would make a huge difference. Unfortunately, this just isn’t my cup of tea. I personally wouldn’t return, as I’m not quite ready to spend another holiday living in a 90,000-year-old apartment. 😂 That said, I have to give credit where it’s due: the hosts were exceptionally friendly, polite and welcoming, and that was genuinely appreciated. My verdict: Great hosts, surprisingly good water pressure, but the apartment itself needs to come out of retirement and enter the 21st century. 😂

Location great

A few things needed fixing toilet seat bath tap and plug didn't fit.dust pile up on kitchen fan and bedroom radiator. stairs at top had bird droppings.
