We had a very pleasant stay at Poseidon Sea Resort and overall we were very happy with our experience.
One of the things we appreciated the most was the hotel’s kindness and attention to guests. We had originally booked a smaller Superior Double or Twin Room, but the hotel offered to move us to a larger Junior Suite in order to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture and it made a very positive impression on us.
We also loved the fact that the hotel listens to its guests and acts on their feedback. For example, after guests mentioned that there was no changing room on the beach, the hotel added one. It is great to see that guest feedback is taken seriously and that improvements are actually made.
The resort is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature. The food was tasty and we enjoyed our meals during the stay.
The beach is lovely, although the only inconvenience is the entrance into the sea, as there are rocks in the water and you need to be a little careful.
The girl working at the beach bar deserves special mention — she was very friendly, helpful and always willing to assist.
Despite few minor issues, we had a lovely stay and appreciated the hotel’s effort to make guests feel comfortable. We would be happy to return in the future.
There are, however, a few things that could be improved. At times, there was an unpleasant smell, somewhat like sewage, around the resort. Also, the coffee at the pool bar was not always very good. Some of the staff there could improve their coffee-making skills, and communication was sometimes difficult with one of the female bartenders who did not understand English very well.

The hotel is in a wonderful location, surrounded by mountains, in a cozy and quiet area. This makes it very comfortable for a peaceful family holiday. Since the hotel is not too big or crowded, it creates a really cozy atmosphere.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My 5-year-old child especially loved the kids' activities and the mini disco with Minnie Mouse. The girl who played Minnie Mouse was very positive and cheerful. She also worked in the kids' club, where she was just as friendly to the children.
The food was good, I think the menu could be a bit more varied, but most of the dishes were tasty. I would especially highlight the fish and seafood. The fresh pizza was another favorite — it was always delicious and the pizza chef was a very friendly person.
I don't consider these as negatives, just things to keep in mind before you visit:
-The room and bathroom were average size, maybe even a little small, but it wasn't a big problem for us.
-The beach is not soft sand and can feel a bit sharp on your feet. The sea is partly sand and partly stones, so I recommend bringing special water shoes. The hotel has a shop with fair prices where you can easily buy them if needed
