Cupid hotel at Ben thanh market was very nice and a good bang for your buck. However, it is a love hotel and is not intended for long term stays. Me and my partner did stay for a while because it’s great value in a good area and the staff are very polite. The rooms do look a bit more worn down at this point and they are quite small in general. Overall very enjoyable stay.

The round bed, bathtub and sauna in the room were awesome. Also great location for walking to main sites in District 1. Staff were helpful and looked after our luggage while we went out for the day.
Some parts of the room weren't clean and you could see some evidence of the previous occupants "activities". Also the soundbar turned on full volume randomly at 3am.
