Although hotel is a bit aged it was fine for a night. Host is very polite and accommodating.
Non-existing soundproofing and other guest's children screaming and running in the stairway.

The receptionist was warm and welcoming. The location was ideal, and the room, while basic, was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was definitely a highlightâan absolute feast that set me up perfectly for a long day of trekking.
The urine smell from the bathroom was strong. I could smell it in my room.

The hotel is located inside the bhaktapur cultural area, which foreign tourists have to pay 15 USD each to enter. It's fine if you're going to go there anyway, but if you just want to crash in the hotel for the night and then leave (like we did) then you have to pay an extra 15 USD each just to access the hotel, which makes the price not good value at all.
When I told the staff that this should be stated on the hotel page, they laughed and said they don't know how to update the booking.com page
