Hostel Brisa Marina offers a very pleasant and authentic stay in Paracas. Although the town itself is quite small, the hostel is conveniently located and provides a calm and welcoming environment. As a family-run business, it has a genuinely homely feel, with the owners, their children and even their lovely dog contributing to a friendly atmosphere. Guests can often spend time in the patio while the children work on their homework, which adds a charming local touch to the experience. The hostel is remarkably quiet, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The rooms are compact but perfectly adequate for a solo traveller, with comfortable and spacious beds, and the private bathrooms, although small, provide everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff are also very kind and helpful throughout the visit. The breakfast is very simple (some bread, butter, jam, and coffee), but that was quite normal in other hotels and hostels I stayed in.
The few drawbacks are relatively minor. The shower water can take some time to warm up, and water pressure is somewhat limited, although this appears to be quite common in many parts of Peru. In addition, card payments are processed directly at the property rather than through Booking.com, and a small surcharge is applied when paying by card. Again, this is a widespread practice in Peru and should not come as a surprise to experienced travellers. Please bear in mind that payments are collected directly by the hostel rather than through Booking.com. If you choose to pay by card, a small additional fee may apply.

Location is very good, walking distance to everything. Check in smooth, accepting credit card. The room is basic, no closet. Water was hot, once you get the point how to use it. Paul was nice. Ok for one night.
The breakfast is limited, dry bread and jam, juice and coffee/tea, it is ok to skip it if you have an early activity plan. The room cannot be dark due to lack of curtains, bed not so comfortable.

This is a family run hotel and I truly wish them all the best as they were lovely.
However.... the hotel was definitely built cheaply, there were many shortcuts made. Plumbing was an issue and the toilet majorly leaked. We were moved to another room. The plaster walls were so thin, sunlight shone through!. Rooms were very smalll and was no room to put your luggage. Sheets were too small for the bed, shower curtain was too small for the shower. I could go on...
