The hotel was cozy and felt like home away from home. Breakfast was wonderful. The gluten free option was very important to me.

Location, breakfast and hospitality

Very beautiful location in the middle of the Black Forest. We were welcomed by a very nice lady that offered us something to drink immediately. She gave us a small tour of the hotel and even offered to carry our luggage upstairs. The room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, everything was biological, fresh and tasty. Service was excellent, extremely nice couple that went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Definitely exceeded all our expectations.

No dinner option in hotel on that day but host reserved a nice spot down the road with yummy food.

The home-like atmosphere. The attentive hotel owner who was eager to please! Their personal kind generosity. Delicious food. The trusting atmosphere. 😃 The free train/ bus pass for that whole region. This way one can enjoy the scenery more, than as a car driver.

The cleaning personnel was not as thoroughly attentive as I expected. The water pressure in the sink tap was quite unpredictable and low.

We had a perfect stay here! The hosts are so amiable and helpful, Bio-breakfast is exceptional (we especially liked bio-berries-youghurt and bio-Schinken), the room is nice and clean, the location is 3 minutes from the train station and 5 minutes from the forests routes, beautiful views from the rooms!
