Sky View Hotel

The blanket, the view, the facilities.

Went to breakfast and was told to go downstairs to the desk and buy a ticket. Having breakfast included wasn't an option. When i checked in i wasn't asked if i wanted breakfast either. The electric outlets were not strong enough to hold a charger and cord.

I stayed three nights at the “Sky View Hotel” and had an extremely luxurious and comfortable stay. The room was big and beautiful with lovely views of the Port at Masan Bay. The gym was big and spacious with lots of cardio machines and weights, so it was possible to have a great workout. Staff are very friendly and speak excellent English. Housekeeping was excellent. There is a small fridge in the room, stocked with two small bottles of water a day, as well as a kettle. There is no microwave. Wi-Fi is reliable and constant, as is AC, but controllable with a remote control. In the vicinity are convenience stores and cafés. The fish market is a stone’s throw away. On the waterfront are lots of seafood restaurants. As a Westerner, none of the food on the menu looked appetising to me. I only saw one restaurant with pictures of seafood dishes that I recognised. The restaurant is directly across the road from the playground on the waterfront, on the corner. I don’t speak Korean, so therefore, I cannot give a name. The most convenient thing for me was to use the food delivery app called “Shuttle”. In today’s economy, it is hard to say what “value for money is” because if you want something of quality, you have to pay a lot. The only luxury lacking at the “Sky View Hotel” were big bath towels. BUT I have never stayed at a hotel in South Korea that offers big bath towels. The small ones, the size of hand towels seems to be the standard here. I would certainly stay at the “Sky View Hotel” again. The bed is big, beautiful and comfortable with giant pillows, from where you can see out onto the Bay. Please note that Masan is an area in Changwon. For guests coming here you need the train station "Masan" and not Changwon-Jungang.

정말 하늘이 보임. 새벽에 보이는 밤바다가 예뻤음. 주변 맛집과 쇼핑시설이 있어서 좋았음. 직원들 친절했음.
