It felt safe and the room was fine. There is an English speaking staff member who is easy to communicate with. They brought me a desk from another room so I could work (even though I had specifically booked a room with desk to begin with). Wifi and fan worked well for the most part.
I really did not like that I was given a completely different room than I booked without warning, and that they tried to sell it to me as a free upgrade. The room I got didn’t match the photo even closely - it had no window, no desk and very dim bathroom lighting. (Technically there is a small window but there is no way to open the curtain)
They said it’s because there’s a leak in the ceiling in the room I booked (technically true, they showed me), but this should have been communicated when I booked or before I arrived so I had the chance to cancel if I wanted to (not once I’d already arrived exhausted from the airport).
If this room is under renovation, it should not be listed on booking.com. Otherwise this is really misleading guests.
The room I had was just fine, in the sense that it was relatively clean (bathroom needs closer attention though), and felt safe enough for me as a female solo traveller.
The bed is not very comfortable but fine enough for 1-2 nights.
There is no signage outside and it felt quite weird entering what seemed like an abandoned building at first (the first floors have construction), but once you get to their floor it’s normal and nice.
I had to carry my 17kg suitcase up 3 flights of stairs though - it would have been nice if they offered help with that because the lift doesn’t work.
It’s a relatively good area of Delhi, but I did not explore on my own, I only took Uber to a nearby mall. I would recommend a private room for solo female but not the dorm. There were not many women around, but the people I met were all respectful.
I wish they were honest about the real room up front, because I think overall it’s a good enough hotel for Delhi standards… if you get what you booked. The photos should better match the reality.

Cleanliness in the property was extremely nice 🙂
I found it difficult to take a shower as there was no Bucket and a mug.

Good location near Saket metro station. Not too pricey.
Beds in the dorm were too shaky. If one person in the upper or lower bed moves, the other bed also shakes along with it. There were open electricity wires too close to an upper bed. This was utter carelessness on the part of hostel.
Toilet flush had issues. The pillow inside the pillow cover was too dirty, seemed like it wasn't washed since more than 6 months. The roof top was not aesthetically maintained. There was no lift, although the hostel and rooms are situated on 3rd and 4th floor. The good thing is it's situated close to Saket metro station Delhi. Also it's not too costly. The staff was fine, although they could be somewhat more courteous to the guests.
