I stayed at DIANELLA Budget Rooms “Happy Place to Stay” in Perth for three nights and had a pleasant overall experience.
The location is a bit outside the city center (around 10 km), so having a car would definitely be an advantage. However, there is a bus stop within walking distance, which makes it manageable without one. A shopping center is about 3 km away and can also be reached on foot.
The room was spacious and well-equipped, featuring a king-size bed as well as an additional single bed. There was also a clothes rack, a desk, and a TV. The air conditioning worked well, which is a big plus in Perth’s climate.
The bathroom was clean, and there is a washing machine available for guests, which is very convenient.
A special mention goes to the host, Paul, who was very friendly and always approachable.
The kitchen is functional and provides basic equipment, although it can get a bit crowded when multiple guests are using it at the same time, especially when it comes to cutlery.

Basic, budget accommodation. Good price but wasn't aware it was shared living...toilet/bathroom/kitchen... for the 3 in my family. Greeted by lovely owner Paul on arrival. Great communication with booking. Well stocked shared kitchen area. Parking place available. Towels in room.
I only put did not meet expectations as I imagined/hoped it was a private unit plus price was with my Genius discount - so therefore too much $$ otherwise, compared to other apartments near to Scarborough
TV not working. Shared bathroom meant it wasn't particularly clean...but adequate.
