Relaxing holidays in nice, quiet environment

Very good location, walking distance from the beach and city center; very nice, comfortable and spacious duplex apartment with two terraces, equipped kitchen, big bathroom, calm and quiet, and excellent host Suzana; large swimming pool with nice little resto for coffee or some food, good to spend relaxing day at pool. Parking places available for cars.

Great holiday!

The Windmill area is very nice with a great pool and bar/restaurant. The staff is very kind and the manager, Suzana, is amazing! She helped us a lot and cared for us. The apartment is great as well, and had the necessary facilities. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The only thing is that the pool was a bit cold for the kids.

Superb

A great location with wonderful views. About a 15min walk downhill to Albufeira but uphill on the way back. Quiet family resort with a lovely pool surrounded by sunbeds. The Windmill restaurant was amazing.

Good location, quiet and sunny.

Everything was good and working. Good quality for the price. We liked it here.

There should be more utensils (glasses, cutlery, knives) and some basic provisions (salt, oil, peper) for cooking. We had to buy everything ourselves so wasted time going back and forth to the Intermarché.

Very nice apartment within a pool complex And cafe in site Very clean in a good location where walking to the old town downhill was 10/15minutes And the nightlife noise of the town couldn't be heard.

Having to walk back up the hill after being in the old town Square all night. But that isn't really a.major complain just hard work walking back 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Reception on arrival was confusing. Said it was a private booking so we weren't really helped. But booked on this site. Got little help if any!!!

Very good

It was easy to communicate with the manager Suzana Ramalho via emails. She sent me the code for a safe box where the key for the appartment was. There is a beautiful garden and a pool at the site. The apartment was large and spacious with two bathrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped. Even with a dishwasher. There were airconditioners.

The apartments are at the top of a hill. The washing mashine wasn't working. The wifi wasn't good at all. The sunbeds newar the pool were not enough for all the guests.

Absolutely fabulous!

Beautiful location on top of the hill with views of Albufeira, the sea and wonderful sunsets. The apartment was super clean, very spacious and decorated nicely. The patio area had sun all day. The kitchen was well equipped and the host was very helpful and informative. The pool area is fabulous and the whole complex is ideal for families. It's nice and quiet with the Old Town just a pleasant 15 minute stroll away. We would definitely book this apartment again.

Nothing! The only thing I would mention is to use a high sun protector. Being high up and getting the breeze you don't notice how strong the sun is!

Great size apartment in a nice location.

The pool bar didn't open until 4pm, and the mini market was practically empty. Slightly out of season, so potentially why, but we weren't aware.

A quiet and clean

Communication with the manager was excellent - she was very helpful and friendly. The apartments were large and well equipped. The pool was clean but understandably chilly in October! No shop onsite but only a 10 minute (hilly) walk to a supermarket and 15 - 20 minute walk into the town for bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay again! The apartment kindly arranged a taxi transfer for us from the airport €50 each way for 6 of us.

A hilly walk into town (but it didn't bother us). A bar on site would be good but I appreciate we were out of high season.

I like the apartment was spacious, clean and staff were friendly very helpful host was available for any needs and wants and very obliging. Pool area was lovely and a lovely area too play pool that the children really enjoyed 😉 I would come again. Temperature was between 23 and 28 degrees for October the weather was fabulous.

The location was excellent, really close to the city center, shops and the beach (10 mins tops). The hosts were so very nice and welcoming. Overall, I would surely come back.

We had a great stay - the location was close to the beach and Albufeira centre, but at the same time quiet and comfortable. Our apartment was in the ground floor with a small terrace and a garden, and a glimpse of the ocean. We did not mind climbing up the hill from the town or the beach - the whole town is full of hills that you have to climb. :) Also - no problems with parking the car. Contactless check in / check out - very easy and friendly.

Excellent location, beautiful apartment and view just 10 mins from the beach. Excellent communal pool with bar and mini supermarket located inside.

Location was a good walk from old town but we enjoyed the exercise!

Grounds were stunning. Staff at the bar and around the grounds all worked really hard. Rooms really spacious. Pool great. Great AC.

The pillows were awful, all 5 of us commented on them, they weren’t a standard size and felt like they were filled with tiny pieces of sponge. Furniture is a little dated. Towels all seemed new apart from the bath mats, they were old, discoloured and bleached.

Great place

Very clean, comfortable with good facilities. Check in was easy with key safe code. Friendly staff around the pool. Beautiful pool. Handy little shop on site. Good, peaceful location. Not too far from the old town but would advise people with walking difficulties to make use of local taxis/ Uber as the walk back from town are quite steep.

Only thing is that it was stated that we would have once a week maid service but did not

Windmill Hills weekend visit

Pool area was lovely with great views over the town and sea. Food and drink was to a good standard at a reasonable price. Stag were very friendly. Rooms were spacious and very clean.
