A great cottage, which was perfect for what we needed - a short, family stay in Ludlow. We stayed with a child and a small dog and the cottage was the right size for the four of us. Accessing the house using the lockbox was really easy and the owner was replacing some bulbs when we arrived - he was really friendly and we had a number to contact him if needed. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, crockery and pans for cooking (we were pleased it had a cafetiere). There is also a cupboard of games. The rooms were spacious and the beds really comfy. The heating was easy to control - and is really effective! There is an enclosed garden which is great for the dog, and off-road parking. The cottage is a short walk from the town centre (and, thanks to 'no entry' roads, walking is probably quicker than driving in) and although it's on a busy road, the noise isn't really noticed inside.
Using Satnav to find the property was tricky - it has it listed on the other side of the road. Follow the directions provided by the host. The garden is enclosed, but the gate has a habit of popping open, so checking before letting the dog out is a must.

Very comfortable and clean and in a great location with parking for a visit to Ludlow
Just a few niggles like light bulbs need replacing, not enough loo rolls for 4 people, shower running too hot, but host was told and we’re sure he’ll fix
It, he’s very friendly and approachable
