Disgusting

We arrived and very shortly followed, by the cleaners who said they were there to freshen up!! I said it was fine because just arrived hadn't checked it out , but had noticed the door well and the paintwork on the door and door jaums were engraved in dirt , I set too cleaning and the biggest spider Web attached to kitchen cupboard with insects in it, toaster full of bread bits dropped all over when you moved toaster fridge needed cleaning , by this time I knew it all had to be cleaned I spent 3 hours cleaning in lounge another massive spiders Web with live insects attached to one of the sofas , this cottage hadn't been used for quite a while , behind the bed one and half Insh thick dust, don't think bed ever been pulled out , spiders everywhere even on top of toilet brush handle , I was ill all the next day, we stuck it out and then got message from home my brother ill, didn't need me to go but I didn't want to stay any longer I had to wash floors all down stairs and wiped carpet with wet wipes up step and it was filthy so we cleaned all up the steps and the bedroom carpet as well dissgusting.. Where I went wrong was I was so involved in getting it clean I never thought to take photos, but trust me you couldn't have made this up , those cobwebs were so large they must have been there weeks , so freshening up was not going to cut it all cutlery drawer contents were washed all plates glasses microwave I couldn't trust anywhere once I had seen that lot of which I have described

Great find in a beautiful village

The cottage was a real find, set in a beautiful village. It was cosy, had lovely surroundings and everything we needed for the stay. The raised outdoor seating area is a real plus for relaxing overlooking beautiful scenery. Would definitely book again. Fabulous walks, bus routes, lovely eateries on the High Street and a charming church clock.

Could do with a small freezer for those wanting to dine in, especially if staying for the week. Also, there were no keys for the window locks needed to let some fresh air through.

A very pleasant and relaxing place to stay.

Location and setting very nice and peaceful and central to the coastal areas we wanted to visit. Property was well appointed and had almost everything we needed. Will definitely return.

Could do with some coat hooks on the back of doors in the bedrooms and bathroom. A vacuum cleaner in the property would have been useful.

The cottage was a real find, set in a beautiful village. It was cosy, had lovely surroundings and everything we needed for the stay.
