Our stay at Lucky Cottage was really lovely. I had a wonderful time there with my two children. The house was well stocked with all the little things you might easily forget to bring with you, which made our stay even more convenient. Everything was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The neighbours were also very friendly, and Anna, the owner, communicated with us so well throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time there and would happily stay again.
There aren’t really any nearby shops where you can get good-quality food unless you’re willing to drive.

Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings
Very peaceful
Tastefully decorated and well thought out furnishings.
Had everything you could possibly need for a stay away.
Beds were so comfortable.
It’s a lovely relaxing place to stay.
Nothing to dislike.
I struggled a little bit with walking to and from the property but that’s only because I’m waiting for a hip replacement.
There was also a little cat that came in every time we opened the back doors. Lovely but hubby is allergic.
Neither of those things affected our stay and it is a truly lovely place and the host Anna is extremely helpful.

Central to all we wanted to see. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds & pillows were comfy - home from home. Very clean throughout. Beautifully Co-ordinating colour schemes throughout - aesthetically pleasing & relaxing! Lovely to sit out in the sunshine in the private tiered garden.
Difficulty with parking with limited parking space. Having to park and walk from the roadway to the cottage.
With all three of us being seniors (one of which was partially disabled) - it was difficult getting in and out of the bath to have a shower without a wall handrail.

A beautiful cottage with fabulous views. Every comfort is taken care of. Luxurious bedding and super comfy beds and pillows. Would not hesitate recommending this cottage. Anna the owner is so helpful. Can highly recommend the Fox &Goose Pub which is a short walk away for drinks and delicious food and Hetty’s Tea Rooms which are a situated a 20 minute walk away downhill going but a very steep uphill walk on the way back but worth it for the gorgeous cakes and scones .
There was nothing to dislike.
