We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel completely at home and truly welcome. They did everything they could to make us feel comfortable, and every evening they cooked us an absolutely delicious meal. We were also a little lucky because we were the only guests, which made the experience feel even more special. The swimming pool is beautiful and set in a lovely, peaceful location. So is the entire place, very private and quiet! Unique location with a stunning view.
The island is also a great base for exploring other nearby destinations and islands by boat.
Again, the warmth and hospitality of the hosts are truly exceptional.
The only downside is that it’s not very easy to go somewhere else for dinner. On the other hand, that’s not really a problem because the food they prepare is exceptionally delicious!
The only other thing we missed was air conditioning, although I don’t think this would normally be much of an issue.
We stayed during a period with a lot of rain, which made the humidity extremely high. Personally, I don’t sleep very well with the breeze of a fan, but if that doesn’t bother you, a fan is definitely more than enough.
This is because the house runs entirely on solar power, which is a great thing.

Quiet, comfortable room, hot water, yummy food, lovely styled shared areas, and pool to keep cool. Host took us in the kayak to great location to snorkel around the nearby mangoves .

Run, don’t walk, to Villa F&B! What a fantastic place to spend a few days. The entire property was so gorgeous, the rooms and dining/common area were well-appointed and built with love and care. Fabian was an excellent cook and a cheerful face to see each morning. The dinners each night were so delicious! Benoit was a cheerful host greeting and talked to all the guests making sure they were good. The pool was so refreshing. The kayaks at our disposal were great to have a look around at the mangroves and islets all around. Peace quiet nature all so wonderful.

The hosts, Benoit and Fabienne, were extremely welcoming and made you feel immediately at home.
The hotel is beautifully constructed so that every space -- your room, the pool, the dining area -- has an exquisite view of the water, mountains and sky, surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers, all to enhance the natural beauty of the islands. The rooms were also well designed and comfortable with ample decks to enjoys the views and large ceiling fans to keep you comfortable at night.
The whole environment was relaxing and serene.
It was lovely to have breakfast included and the food and service was spectacular. Fabienne is a talented chef and a warm, very kind hostess. Each meal was a delight!
We also enjoyed our conversations with fellow guests during meals or cocktail hour.
The hotel sits within mangroves and there is no room to walk or run around the hotel. If you are a runner/walker you must take a water taxi to another island to find a place to run/walk any distance. In general, anticipate taking excursions to other islands each days as activities at the hotel itself are fairly limited. Benoit is happy to arrange whatever you need, just be prepared for that and have plenty of cash to hand as each taxi costs $20RT pp to this islands, then there are $5 entry fees to National Parks. It's helpful to have a lot of $5 and $10 bills.
