The location is absolutely stunning, with near private access to a beach, and the hotel is very beautifully designed. The experience is well curated, and the (vast) staff is very nice and extremely competent. The restaurant is also very good.
The obsidian spa provides a unique experience, we very much enjoyed our massage and bath treatment. Special thanks to Stella for the wonderful and attentive massage.
We didn’t have a car, and the taxis are very expensive due to the remote location and dirt road (80€/trip). On top of this expensive stay, this discouraged us from wondering around the island and we instead stayed at the hotel.
The suites are beautiful and very Instagram-friendly, but not necessarily the most comfortable.

Infinity pool with breathtaking views of the ocean! Private beach was also convenient down the pool to take a dip. Overall quietness, nice suite with own mini pool with views of the mountain. Friendly staff.
Isolated location with 2.5 km non asphalt road to get there. Besides, the rocky road with up and down hills and curves all the way to the hotel was not easily accessible with a normal car. Only SUV or above type of cars are suitable to get there. The hotel should have informed about this after the reserve is made by the customer knowing the difficulties to get there due to the road conditions. It’s an idyllic hotel for 2-day stay where you do not move from the hotel and enjoy its facilities. Not ideal hotel if you plan to move around and explore the island an its small towns.
