Amazing location right on the beach. The island itself is beautiful too and remote / wild with lots of friendly dogs roaming around. Awesome views and nice reef around the whole island. Wifi was fast and good (they just got Starlink so have wifi now), we had the shared bathroom and it was fine. The family have goats & chickens, and we played volleyball with the kids which was fun! Ice cream around the corner (only eat the pineapple one) and Los Tea House just up the beach. The activities are fine. Shark snorkelling was really cool. Overall a nice stay.
My only recommendation is the food portions - myself and my partner went hungry a couple of times and due to not being able to get food for ourselves anywhere, this was rough. One plate meals - more fruit would have been nice because there’s an abundance of fruit growing on the island. Probably bring snacks / your own food just in case. Also sometimes we felt like we were bothering the family by just asking questions about the island etc… they didn’t seem too keen to chat with us… but not sure haha

Good food for the money. Working wifi usually till 9pm. Nice walk across the island to the Blue Lagoon. Go try the ice cream nextdoor. Really nice owner. Had different activities but only if there is at least 3 people participating.
It is not like some other homestays, where you are part of the family. Hosts very distant, almost no interaction. Really really old beds.

Good area. You can walk to the other side of the island, (blue lagoon) about 20min. They have a Tea House and Organic Icecream shop 3 min walk. Portions of food are big and the views by the ocean beautiful. We have a private room by the beach and you can see the ocean through your windows. You can book the cave trip and other activities for good price. Family is honest and helpful. We were invited to a lunch wedding, was really cool.
If it’s windy or rainy the wind blows pretty strong and seems the other side of the island is better for swimming and snorkelling. Food could be a bit more varied but overall was good. Cold showers and no bathroom amenities.

Room was right on the beach
Staff are fantastic
The boat driver was safe and skilled to handle the boat in rough weather
Close to Blue Lagoon beach...nice walk over the island or around the island, nice beach
The weather sadly was shocking...the wind and rain came straight into our room and porch
The shower walls and floor need a good scrub
The mattress needs to be aired as it was damp
