The hotel itself was very attractive & clean. Inside, there was a simple, stylish design that I enjoyed. The hotel has large rooms, AC, some views, nice staff, and is very comfortable inside. The price was right & it was near the Loteria metro stop. I could see a bit of the ocean from my window.
The hotel can't help this, but the area for a tourist was a bit uncomfortable. The Calidonia neighborhood isn't where tourists usually hang out. There are nicer, albeit much more expensive, parts of Panama City that feel safer. Also the walls permit TV sound: from midnight to 2 am, I heard my neighbor's TV loudly as though it was turned on in my room.
