The hostal was artsy and cute. Nice outdoor sitting areas and laundry set up. We got the dinner, and it was amazing. Exceeded expectations. Staff kind.
Private room was rather rustic and bit of walk to a shared bathroom. Showers required hitting button repeatedly and bathroom lights required moving.

Meal is vegan which is not clear in booking and does not cater for normal eating. breakfast was brilliant and included ham so why not at dinner.

This place looked so cute and rustic in photos online, and in person it really was charming.
Check-in says 12, but it's actually 1. I wish they'd fix that listing, because I would have spent that extra hour hanging out at the bridge or down by the river instead of just waiting around, only to feel like we were being an inconvenience for arriving 'early.' The same people manage the albergue next door, but they rarely come over to this one except to check people in and show them where their bed and the facilities are. When I was the first to check in, there were pillows and blankets left on the floor from the night before, and the host just folded them up and put them straight back on the bed. It didn't feel very sanitary. The bathroom and shower were also pretty dirty, and we barely saw anyone the rest of the stay after check-in. There's no longer a community dinner here either. That's now over at the other albergue they run across the street, which is newer and has a much better vibe. It's a shame, because it feels like the charm of this place is slipping away. The beds themselves weren't very comfortable, though the frames are wooden, so at least you can't hear anyone moving above you.
