Worst experience ever

I hate complaining and this is the last thing I like to do. But this was just the worst experience and I can not keep this to myself, especially since I rented the property with my 4 year old son staying. First thing I’ve noticed when we’ve arrived it was the smell of cigarettes and old furniture, then came all the surprise; broken interiors, moldy dirty toilet paper, weird smelling bed sheets, dirt in the bath (which came off when I gave it a clean so it was not cleaned before) tiles were visibly dirty and stained, moldy shower head. Bath can’t be plugged in or else the plug gets stuck, took me a long time to try to get it out of there. The windowsills are very dirty too and the windows aren’t in a good condition or reduce noise from the outside. Kitchen doors almost falling off, cooking top is all burnt and over all not a newly renovated or refurbished apartment, but most disturbingly dangerous as the kitchen floor separating thing has two very sharp end sticking out which has ripped holes in my socks and thighs numerous times even when tried avoiding it, it just sticks out and dangerous. The sofa in the living room is worn out and uncomfortable, extra bedding provided in the storage space in sofa were very smelly, made us itch and left my son with mild rashes on his face and neck. Only two bigger sized towels were “nicely provided” in the closet in the bedroom, and also two small ones, the rest were just thrown in the top corner of the closet. Bathroom heating (towel drier) doesn’t work, the living room heating only works on level hell or have to turn it off, there’s no working thermostat or anything so if you don’t want to sleep in 100 Celsius then you have to turn it off but the apartment doesn’t keep heat so it will be cold in two hours. I’ve been also charged for 150£ deposit after submitting my card to a 1£ payment, which was very upsetting as I was on budged with my son and partner and did not expect to be charged after making the booking with booking.com.

Bad 24hrs

No towels no hot water n dirty bathroom was told get partial refund but still awaiting this no 1 dealt with matter till 24 hours later 1 whole day no hot water not fit bit charged n booked us in wasn't fit for purpose due to hot water issues but none of management team cared disabled partner couldn't shower or bath
