I stayed at Swallows Nest for 2 weeks. Everything was perfect - really. The ocean view and the wave sounds in the mornings and evenings, perfect breakfast with variety of fresh fruit and breakfast options, made all so wonderfully. Perfect cleaning and tidiness absolutely every day and smiling and welcoming staff, helping with any issue or question you might have... Really felt like home away from home and super grateful for Lisa and all her team members!

Location a bit away from main attractions of Plettenberg but roughly 15 minute walk to Lookout beach and restaurant which we loved. Bedroom was well equipped and balcony had a lovely view. Owner couldn’t have been more helpful. And breakfasts were delicious
There always seemed to be a cool breeze on the balcony which made it uncomfortable sitting out.

Pretty well located but overall lacklustre.
Unfortunately disappointing. We stayed in 7 guest houses during out garden route trip but this one did not meet expectations or the high standards of any of the others in the same category and price. We found the accommodation to be fitted and kitted budget style. To be fair the facilities are all provided but everything seemed cheap and tired within a rather musty atmosphere.
