Colmar est une jolie ville avec des maisons de caractère. C'est chouette de loger dans une telle maison aussi.
L'appartement était bien meublé et décoré. La cuisine était super équipée, même avec grille-pain, réserve de sucre, café, sel, poivre, huile, détergent pour la vaisselle... Fantastique !
Une mezzanine (très basse de plafond) est arrangée avec une partie salle de bain complémentaire, et une autre partie coin de lecture, si on veut s'isoler un moment.
Ce serait encore mieux si l'appartement n'était pas au 3e étage sans ascenseur, mais on ne peut pas tout avoir.
Et comme dans toute vieille maison, hormis en méditerranée, il n'y a pas de climatisation, ce qui était ennuyeux cet été. Mais avec les nombreux ventilateurs et en laissant les fenêtres ouvertes durant la nuit, la température restait acceptable.

Had 2 separate rooms so that worked for us. Was in a perfect location in old town Colmar.
The bathrooms were very difficult and disappointing. No overhead shower, it's a spray hose attachment. The worst part is you can't stand up because of overhead beams. The 2nd level went up a spiral staircase and had 1 tub with the same issue. Was very odd and inconvenient. There were 3 bristly hard towels and no soaps. The apt had a washer but we had no idea how to use it and there were no instructions. I think it was a washer/dryer combo but we weren't sure. When we left we were told by Mgr we could store luggage at nearby address. We walked to find they were closed. Ended up walking with luggage on cobblestone roads for half a mile and found an alternative. I would not stay there again. I would stay in area but choose apt that is on lower level so beams don't obstruct you from standing up to shower.
