Great apartment, great location!

The location by the square. Very clean throughout Comfy bed Great shower pressure! Very well equipped Easy check in/out

Annoying instructions for the WIFI - the code in the English booklet was wrong, the one in the French booklet was right! When we stayed it was a quiet time of year and the weather wasnt too hot, but I can see that it might be noisy if the square is busy.

Exceptional

Lovely bright spacious apartment. Very central location. Plenty of restaurants just as you walk out the door. Friendly Irish bar 2 doors down.. Tatiana gives you a code to enter the building the keys to the apartment are in a code box to the right of the lift on a wall.. apartment is on the third floor.really enjoyed our stay there.

Exceptional

Location was absolutely perfect for bars,shops and food,plus only a 20 minute walk to the castle! I can't fault the apartment,everything was perfect and without a doubt would stay there again!..I would recommend anyone visiting carcassonne to book this apartment as it really made the trip fantastic! Thank you Carnot Chic!

Location

Poorly identified. Needed help from Strangers to fi d location. Language barrier with instructions. Unusual entry & sort of scary. We came in on a festive day for TOUR DE FRANCE. So, considering, it was nice after we figured out where it was, how to get the keys & then how to push the Grey door open, then look for the black door to open the lock. It was an adventurous greeting to figure out on our own. But, we were able to talk throughtranslion texts which really helped us all.I

Great central location next to shady plaza, clean apartment,

Very clean apartment, updated shower with slate walls. A perfect location in central Carcassonne- some steps next to tree lined shady square with a dozen cafes and restaurants. Easy walking 10 minutes to train station. Ancient city of Carcassonne is 1.2 miles walk from apartment across a scenic river and up winding streets. Very charming overall.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi/TV networks were not working. No signal to main box. Owners were informed. Was not my phone or tablet. This negatively affected to making travel reservations with digital Eurail pass, etc. Had to go to restaurants for signal.

Well equipped apartment in a very central location.

Location was excellent. Well equipped apartment. Host was responsive.

The bedroom is a bit stuffy especially on a warm day because there is no ventilation and the window does not open. The unit does not have air conditioning.

Fantastic city and good centre to allow exploration of the local area.

Location for activities. Modern, clean decoration. Host support with WI-FI issues. Lift access to the 3rd floor room.

This is outwith the control of the host but the location was very noisy at times. It is on the corner of the main square with significant traffic pedestrian noise throughout the night. At the weekend there was a pop up stage area immediately opposite the room which operated until 01:00 Friday and Saturday nights.

Relaxed. I will return

The place matched the pictures and description and was a very central location It was very clean. It was important to me having easy communication with the host (via wats app) as it gave an additional layer of reassurance. The host actually came around late Sunday evening to fix the Wi-Fi that had developed an external fault.She managed and the Wi-Fi was ok for the duration of the visit. (Merci) I requested a late check out to match my onward journey which they were able to accomodate. There was a usb charger in the kitchen

It's certainly not a deal breaker but some ground coffee or capsules for the coffee maker would have been nice (it was unfamiliar to me so I wasn't sure how it worked).Ditto some olive oil for cooking. (Instant coffee was available)

Excellent stay in the heart of the city.

Perfect location. Friendly host. All great spots and top restaurants within walking distance. Nicely refurbished interior. A real home away from home.

Modern apartment in great location

Wonderfully bright and modern apartment. Cleanliness was of a high standard and the host was very welcoming and accomodating. Would recommend for anyone visiting Carcassonne.
