The beds were all clean and comfortable. There is stylish flare to the property too with cool sofas and interesting trinkets throughout. My eldest loved having bunk beds to explore. The location is amazing if you want to explore Boscastle and the surrounding areas.
Having a washing machine and dryer was super helpful for day trips to the beach.
Travel cot/high chair was provide but needed a clean.
Kitchen was well stocked and a bottle of wine was a welcome arrival gift.
It was clean but it was covered with spiders. Understandable in an old house but there were so many it was a little uncomfortable. The house needs a deep clean.
The bedroom had no lightbulb in the main light.
You could hear the pub a little on Saturday night but really not an issue overall.
Internet passwords provided were all incorrect. Luckily we found a QR code on the box to get online.
Not great for families with small children. And Boscastle is hilly so if you are pushing a pram be warned. We didn’t use the highchair as it was really dirty.
Information pack left needs updating.

Good size cottage with pretty garden good value for money
Wi fi ( so tv) didn't work and host didn't get back to us when notified. Didn't spoil holiday overall but something to note. Parking is well explained so you need to work with it for an authentic experience.

After a tricky start, ( which wasn’t the hosts fault in the end) I just want to thank the hosts sincerely for their quick responses and actions and going above and beyond to make a feel welcome. I can’t thank you enough for your support and kindness.
We felt like we’d made a new home here, lovely location. The Napoleon Inn down the road surpassed our expectations and are so welcoming.
Cute garden at the top in a sleepy slow street. You’re surrounded by people, but you’d never know it from how quiet it was.
It took us around 12 mins to the harbour but we’re fit and hill ready so didn’t mind the walks.
Boscastle will always be our second home and after our 5th time visiting here , Fernleigh Cottage is definitely on our list of restays if we can get booked in again !

Parking can be a problem, but I know this about Boscastle. There’s places to park near which isn’t hard to find.
Other than that, nothing to dislike

Nice and close to a good pub (The Napoleon). Quite street. Good to have washing machine and tumble drier. Good bed in attic.
Attic bedroom had little headspace. Staircase to access was tight.
2nd floor double bed was a little uncomfortable. No microwave.
