The casita is very basic but clean and functional. The side porch has great views. Not super comfortable furniture and very limited cookware and fridge space. We enjoyed our stay. The privacy and proximity to Joshua tree was great. Quiet area.

Well marked route to this location. Very quiet, and close to one of the Joshua Tree entrances. Interior space was clean and roomy for 2 people. Kitchenette has stove, oven, small refrig, micro, and Keurig coffee maker w/ some pods provided. The kitchen dishes, flatware, utensils, etc met our needs. AC worked well. Bed firm and comfortable. Big screen TV worked great. Has sliding glass door out to patio w/ chairs and table w/ shade umbrella. Would recommend this to others.

Comfortable bed, hot shower with good pressure. Place was clean when I arrived. Small kitchenette, but seemed to have all the necessaries (I did not cook, hence unsure about appliances). This cottage is adjacent to the main house/not connected thou. Owner resides on the property. Very quite.

The owners of this studio made it a nice comfortable place to stay, and the outside patio is a great place to sit and enjoy the sunset. Just far enough away from the highway from traffic noise and close to the 49 Palm Oasis Trail. The owners are very nice and I recommend their studio as a great place to stay.

We had a nice little stay at this studio apartment. Very close to Joshua Tree NP The room was very clean. It would be nice to have a few more kitchen items like an egg flipper and a tea kettle. But it was very nice and we recommend staying here.

This place is great if you are looking for nice basic accommodations for one or two adults close to park. It looked even better in person than in the photos. It was spotlessly clean, the towels and linens were very nice, and the kitchenette area had all the items you would expect. (One note: there is a Keurig machine and not a regular coffee maker.) The patio is very nice with a view of the mountains. The patio is on the east side of the house so that you get sunshine in the morning but it is shaded in the afternoon and evening. There is a gas grill around the corner of the patio which is not mentioned in the description or in the photos. The location is just off the highway somewhat centrally located between the 2 entrances to the park, also it very close to the 49 Palms Oasis trail. It is a perfect base of operations for visiting the park.

The host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We worked remotely from the home before heading into the park each day and the house was perfect. The house is conveniently located close to both the North and West entrances to the park and only 1 mile from the 49 palms oasis hike. We chose to walk from the house to the trailhead and this was one of our favorite experiences of the trip. Would stay here again!

Great place to stay with quick access to the park. Nice old school functional kitchen and decor. The backyard itself had really nice views too! Oh and it is a couple minutes away from a nice grocery store.

This was a wonderful place to stay! Very clean, everything worked including the "old cranky fridge" and the view was awesome. Very quiet area and the porch was perfect for star gazing at night and morning coffee! Would book this property again!

We were the second guests for this sweet casita. The owners are an incredibly sweet family who live on the property. But the privacy and beauty of the spot are striking. The casita is clean and well appointed. One highlight is the patio — aPrivate spot for morning coffee and nighttime stargazing. Another nightlight is the proximity to trailheads for hiking. It’s not far from the highway—For convenience— but is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Overall, a lovely spot curated by sweet and attentive owners.
