Our home is furnished in a modern and chic style by an interior designer. 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Two full baths and a powder room. 5 min walk to town- Camden at your doorstep! Sit on the deck and watch the schooners come and go or stroll into town and discover world class restaurants, bars and music! The house is fully equipped with everything!! Including a travel crib and lobster pot! The home was built in 1904 and does have some of the quirks you would expect of an old house.

Location could not have been better -- right above the new area with restaurants, bars, etc and a five min walk to downtown Camden. View of the bay was beautiful. Quiet neighborhood. Great for a multigenerational family ranging from age 26 to 73. We were able to use the kitchen to cook too!

Be specific. Stairs are super steep. The downstairs bathroom does not qualify as a bathroom. Just a toilet and can barely close the door when sitting on the toilet. View is awesome and room with the TV is awesome. Major issues with the grill that should have been fixed ahead of time. We wound up throwing out $$s of food. Kitchen is just ok. No dishwasher and dishes did not seem clean. Sorry for this review.

Lovely quaint home with lots of character. Great view of Camden Harbor. 15 minute walk to anywhere in town. Great restaurants and shops. Hurricane Lee was only a minor inconvenience. Hiked Mt Battie and some Acadia trails. Checked out Bar Harbor as well.

Matt’s home was beyond our expectations. Well stocked, super clean, and what a view or Camden Harbor. Will definitely return for another stay and would highly recommend.

The house was in the perfect location. we were able to walk to downtown Camden to enjoy All the sights and shops. The house is on tje harbor and we enjoyed the sunset every night from the back porch. I loved sitting on the porch in the early morning and watching all the people walking and going to work. My son loved that there was an xbox to play. We can't wait to go back and see will definitely be staying here again

The cottage is charming and has many of the 1904 quirks that one would expect. We stayed for 10 days over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed the views, easy walk into downtown and reading by the fireplace. We had our 14 year old son with us and he we delighted to have is own space and an XBox to log into and play. The home is well loved, clean and has room for everyone even with it's smaller size. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook and there is a market in walking distance, or a full grocery a few mins drive. This was our first winter trip to Maine and Camden was lively and active. Many places were ope for shopping and dining. We will plan another visit for sure!

We could not have asked for a better experience at the lovely house at 29 Sea Street. Host's communication was perfect, and we found everything we could ever need in the kitchen. The deck & views of Camden harbor were a highlight of every morning and evening as we watched the sailboats come and go. The location is fantastic for walking to town, the library, amphitheater, restaurants, and shops. Only suggestion is for a way to have AC units in bedrooms removable so that evening cross breezes can be enjoyed except for on the hottest nights. (This addition is very understandable due to record breaking summer temps in New England.) We absolutely look forward to returning!

First time to Camden and I will say we definitely picked the proper place to stay. Great view from the deck and walking distance to downtown. Hikes, walks, sailing, lunch, dinner, all within a couple of blocks. House has all you need for your vacation stay.

The location is excellent. The view of the harbor with boats coming in is beautiful. . There are some issues with the structure. The precode stairs leading to the basement are steep and the treads should be replaced. The water heater needs to be turned down. Someone could get scalded. For the price the upstairs should be air conditioned at least with portable units.

We took a step back in time during our stay in this vintage home overlooking the Camden harbor! It was immaculate and smartly decorated with a mix of new and old! The owners were helpful and easily accessible and we hope to return on our next visit to the beautiful coastal town of Camden!

Awful! Full construction site between house and harbor. Trucks and workers within feet of house. They advertise as 3 bedrooms. The third bedroom with a full bath was in the basement. It smelled musty. The bedroom carpet was soaked. The room was not habitable. Each of the beds were 1 mattress on a frame. We spent 1 uncomfortable night out of 7 only because it was too late to move. The next morning we found other accommodations. We requested a refund and got 50% back.

Our stay was just wonderful, 5 min walk to to all the shops in town and only 10 min to all waterfront restaurants. The deck had amazing views of the harbor and all the lights on the waterfront. Pretty neighborhood.

We had a wonderful visit to Camden and loved the cottage! The house was clean, historical and so well decorated. We loved the short walk into the town to eat, shop, and just stroll to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The property manager was very responsive when we asked them questions. The cottage was comfortable, spacious, and a true delight to stay in. We also enjoyed the views of the harbor from inside and on the deck. Overall we had a wonderful week there and hope to return!

The house, though not huge, is both spacious and cozy, with everything you need, including the perfect cocktail hour deck. The walk into town is lovely - everything at your doorstep. Highly recommended. Note that here is some construction happening in front of the property during this summer (2021).

There are several inaccuracies and/or omissions that negatively impacted our stay:1) Photos specify a “fireplace for chilly nights.” We arrived and the heat was off. It was very cold. We saw wood, paper, and a duraflame fire starter in the fireplace and a lighter was sitting on the hearth. Obviously, we lit it only to have smoke billowing into the den. We quickly put it out and grabbed the house manual to find a note that the FP didn’t work. That should be put on the VRBO listing AND a note should be put on the FP itself AND don’t put a fire starter and lighter at it! Mist folks don’t start by reading the manual. 2) Deck fire pit that is noted twice in photo captions is missing the knob and can’t be turned on. It’s not usable. This should be noted in the listing. 3) There is a MASSIVE and NOISY construction project right behind the house on the harbor. The drive the dump trucks and equipment use is right beside the house. Lots of noise. Lots of people. Lots of banging. Lots of vehicles. This should be noted in the listing. I never received check in information and had to contact the owner the day of our check in to ask how to access the house. Communication could also be improved. Beds and couches are also very low and not especially comfy. On the plus side, the house has great historical character, a super cute kitchen, and good location (if you don’t mind the construction).
